A message on Coronavirus from Visual Print and Design

16 March 2020

Visual Print and Design is taking the spread of Coronavirus extremely seriously. Our number one priority remains the safety and wellbeing of our employees but we want to ensure that we can continue to look after our customers as part of our business continuity plan.  We know this is going to be a difficult period for all businesses but we want all of us to come out the other side strong and as a result, we are taking the following actions from the 16th March 2020:

Remoting Working

We are encouraging any employees that wishes (and are able to) work from home to do so. We have put provisions in place to allow team members to work remotely and to continue doing their jobs securely.

Back-Up Printing Facilities

In the event that production is unable to operate due to staff illnesses or stock issues, we have provisions in place with other printers across the UK to ensure we can still complete jobs and continue operating as normal.

Office Operations

Until we have to halt production, we have put in the following measures:

  • We have cancelled all business travel and have recommended our team avoid non-urgent personal travel
  • Face-to-face meetings will now be over telephone or video calls
  • Except for deliveries and collections from our distribution partners, we’ll not be accepting any visitors to our offices
  • We have cancelled any tickets to networking events and conferences
  • We have shared best practice health tips with our team and if any of our employees have a persistent cough and/or fever, they are to go into self-isolation for 7 days.

We will continue to operate under the guidance of the UK Government and during this period of uncertainty, we ask that you continue to support small businesses like ours.

If you have any questions, please do reach out to us (by telephone, email or carrier pigeon please!)

Thank you.

Managing Director
