Christmas Themed Print Ideas
As highlighted in one of our previous blog post ‘Christmas marketing ideas’, businesses should make the most of seasonal events and take hold of the opportunity to create some themed print campaigns to connect and engage with customers. Now is the time to be planning your Christmas print as you want to have it all wrapped up and sent out before businesses start to close down for the festive period. In this blog, we will look at 4 ways your business can add a festive touch to your printed marketing.
CARDS
Traditional Christmas cards still stand as a simple, cost effective way to spread Christmas well wishes to you client base. This year however, why not step things up a bit by personalising your cards. Digital printing allows you to personalise a card to a business name or individual client with ease, just send us the spreadsheet of contact names and we will do the rest! Another fun way to make cards more interactive is to include a festive recipe card inside. This could be a mince pie recipe or a Christmas cocktail! But ultimately, something the receiver will appreciate and find useful.
DESK CALENDARS
Stay with your clients 365 days of the year by sending them a branded desk calendar. It’s important to remember that you’ll be competing with several other calendars for your space on the desk, so remember these tips:
1) Don’t make it too big – the calendar needs to sit on a desk alongside a computer, coffee and pile of paper work. If the calendar gets in the way, it may well end up in the bin.
2) Include holiday dates – when we return to the office in January with the holiday blues, we often look for the first bank holiday of the year. Make sure these dates are highlighted on your calendar.
3) Spend time on the design – if a client is going to choose your calendar over someone else’s, it needs to stand out. A key way to make sure this happens is by spending time on the design.
PROMOTIONAL ITEMS
It’s the season of giving, so why not make your clients feel valued and give them something special. There are a number of promotional items you could choose from, from novelty to high end items. How about selecting your top 10 clients and sending them a bottle of wine in a branded box? But don’t just send it in the post, make the effort to go out and see you client and wish them well for the New Year!
CHRISTMAS LABELS
Sending out parcels or packages throughout December? Then invest in some Christmas labels! It will make your parcel stand out and delight your end user as they receive the festive package. We can print labels of all different shapes and sizes, so get in touch if you need a bit of inspiration.
All of these ideas can be produced quickly, so if your planning is a little last minute don’t worry. If you’re not looking for print marketing or want to include a digital campaign too, check out our other blog ‘Christmas Marketing Ideas’.
