Visual Print and Design raises nearly £250 for a national mental health Charity
We’re delighted to announce that we have raised much-needed funds for YoungMinds by donating a portion of our December profits.
YoungMinds are the UK’s leading mental health charity for young people and while it has been a hard year for so many businesses across the UK, charities have been hugely impacted and their resources have been stretched.
It is estimated that mental health impacts 1 in 10 children and young people and, as the result of the coronavirus pandemic, those with mental health needs are under increasing pressure and struggling to get the right support.
This donation of £244.52 will go to raising vital funds and improving awareness of the importance of young people’s mental health.
Michelle Kerrigan, Development Manager for YoungMinds said:
“We’re incredibly grateful that Visual Print and Design supported YoungMinds by donating a portion of their December profits to us. The money raised is needed now more than ever in our fight for the mental health of children and young people across the UK.”
Graham Hunstone, Managing Director at Visual Print and Design said:
“Each December, we donate some of our profits from the month to a charity chosen by the team and for 2020, we chose YoungMinds which is a charity very close to my heart. 2020 has had a detrimental impact on young people and their emotional wellbeing. That’s why I’m so glad we have been able to make a donation to help those in crisis.”
YoungMinds is the UK’s leading charity championing the wellbeing and mental health of young people. They exist so that young people have the strongest possible voice in improving their mental health. More information about YoungMinds can be found here.
