Visual Print & Design installed a new large format printer to increase their capacity for large-format printing. The new machine will boost production at the premises in Checkpoint Court by 40% creating more jobs in 2016.
The Award winning Lincolnshire business, now have a Mutoh 1324X printer. With this addition their on-site printing capabilities have never been greater, being able to deliver a greater amount of specialist items in a shorter amount of time and in some cases the same day.
Visual Print & Design are now capable of printing products up to 1.3 meters wide using Mutoh’s Drop-on-demand Micro Piezo Inkjet technology, meaning that no detail is lost when printing at any size. Your vision in print can now look bigger and sharper than ever before.
The Mutoh printer specialises in printing on a variety of stock: vinyl can now be printed in-house. Visual Print & Design’s already-impressive pull-up banners can now benefit from quicker printing and construction, as do their outdoor banners and pop-up exhibition displays. Adhesive sheets, floor stickers and even wallpaper can also be directly printed on, letting them quickly and efficiently create multiple products for your business.
Company Director Graham Hunstone is aiming to increase turnover by £150,000 in 2016/2017 using this printer, saying “We chose the Mutoh large format printer as its performance and quality complements our existing in-house digital equipment. This as a vital add on for the business, allowing us to offer new products and services to our existing and new customers with same day and 24-hour turnaround options on most of our large format products. Creating jobs has always been important to us and the addition of the machine will create at least one new position in production at Visual Print & Design.
