We’re finalists for two IPIA Recognising Excellence Awards
We’re thrilled to share the news that Visual Print & Design is a finalist for a pair of esteemed industry awards, with our fellow nominees including big brands such as Epson, Fujifilm and Xerox.
We’re on the shortlist for two sought after titles at the Independent Printing Industry Association Recognising Excellence Awards 2023, up against well-known creative brands such as Canon and Whistl for the ‘Print Management of the Year Award’ and ‘Community Champion Award’.
Other finalists include well-known brands such as Epson, Fujifilm and Xerox, which are in the running for separate prizes.
“Absolutely elated” – our MD, Graham
Graham Hunstone, managing director of Visual Print & Design said: “We’re absolutely elated to be shortlisted not once but twice for the IPIA Awards. This is a huge achievement for us as it is recognition at the highest level in the print industry for a job we are incredibly passionate about.
“We’ve been working in tandem with some of the most iconic businesses in Lincoln and across the East Midlands, such as Social Change UK, the New Theatre Royal in Lincoln and Stokes Tea & Coffee, so these two nominations are both empowering and vindicating for us. It shows that our drive to empower our local communities through attentive and innovative design and print sets us apart from our competitors, and I couldn’t be more proud of our design, print and production team.”
The IPIA Recognising Excellence Awards 2023 will take place at Hinckley’s Leonardo Hotel and Conference Venue on Wednesday 29 November 2023.
Community Champion Award
The ‘Community Champion Award’ showcases how an IPIA member has shown dedication and outstanding support for their local or business communities. It reflects how they have helped support local businesses, charities or community groups to achieve their goals, or where they have created laudable community support initiatives of their own.
Explaining our nomination, the judges commented: “Visual Print and Design are always getting involved with their local charities, raising money through a range of activities. Most recently, fundraising for the British Heart Foundation and supporting their local economy.”
Print Management of the Year Award
Also shortlisted for the ‘Print Management of the Year Award’, we’re recognised as being a dedicated print management company, designer, and marketing agency that ensures mutual growth with its print partners and itself.
The judges said we demonstrate “exceptional dedication to quality, innovation, and client satisfaction” alongside “an unwavering commitment to delivering top-notch print solutions” and its “proactive communication, attention to detail, and response to client needs [that] showcases excellence service”.
With voting closed as of Friday 3rd November, we’ll have to wait until the official ceremony later this month to see if we bring back the duo of sought-after titles from the awards gala to our Sadler Road HQ in Lincoln.
Wish us luck!
